Louis Kern
Louis (Lou) Kern
Writer, Editor

Lou Kern is a farm boy, a Marine Force Recon combat veteran and a self-taught master craftsman.  He is currently engaged in a series of film biographies about warriors, artists and dream chasers.  The underlying viewpoint of these profiles is that everyone is gifted in some way and that a life well lived lies in the discovery and development of that gift.  Secondly the tools necessary to fulfill one’s gift are perseverance, work ethic, intentionality, courage and a certain amount of recklessness.  These tools collectively are an ethos best expressed by two simple words:  "never quit." All of these are learned qualities and the focus of Lou’s film work is to capture the stories of people who have a lifetime of experience in overcoming obstacles and diligently pursuing their dreams.
